One of the leading Ecommerce portal in India which has recently merged with the CC Avenue has signed an MoU with DRC Systems for its acquisition for an undisclosed amount. This is the second move in the recent past of the Ecommerce player Infibeam to keep up pace with the changing dynamics of the Ecommerce trajectory.
DRC Systems is a full fledged IT Services Solutions Company which also has ventured into AI, Robotics and Analytics. Infibeam will get an added advantage over its competitors in Inventory Management, Supply Chain Management, Consumer Relations and Automations with the current acquisition.
Infibeam was founded in the year 2007 and is one of the India’s first E-commerce companies to file an IPO in July 2015. The company is an online retailer for books, electronics, and automobiles and had more than 66,000 merchants on its e-commerce platform at the end of December 2016. As per the latest filings the company has reported in its 3rd Qtr (Ending in Sept, 2016) a net profit of INR 12.8 Cr with a revenue of INR 102.7 Cr.
