One of the late entrant in Indian Startup ecosystem, GHV Accelerator has funded undisclosed amount of funds in FoodTech Sattviko and Glue Design. Both the startups are doing fairly good job in bringing in sustainable development and this partnership would help them grow further.
Speaking on the development Prasoon Gupta, founder Sattviko said, “We had known several founders whose companies have been invested by GHV and they always talked high about GHV and it’s highly supportive culture. We now welcome GHV Accelerator as a major investor in Sattviko and feel proud to get associated with India’s fastest growing network of GHV portfolio startups.”
On the other hand, Niladri Mukherjee, the founder of Glue Design added, “We are extremely appreciative of their regular and consistent engagement with us, their efforts in helping us build networks and alliances with other startups and Indian Government’s initiatives in this space. We look forward to working even closer with them in the future and we are sure that their years of experience will expedite our growth going forward.
A quick brief of Sattviko and Glue Design
Sattviko has been operational since 2013 and was founded by Prasoon Gupta, Ankush Sharma and Rahul Gupta. The company runs their Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) Sattviko which serves food without onion and garlic. Apart from Supplying Food and QSR’s the company also sells Ayurvedic products online through its own online marketplace along with its own delivery services, it stared February, 2017.
Glue Design comes with 20 years of Design Experience and claims to lead the way with product innovation & engineering through their out-of-the-box yet meticulous approach to all problem solving – be that in retail, exhibitions or product design. The company comprises of Product & Graphic designers, Architects, Engineers, 3D Artists, Managers, Accountants, Production Managers. In the past the company has delivered designs to the retail outlets of HUL, Future Group, Samsung, Nestle, HCL, ITC, Dabur, World Bank, Hero Motors, Apollo Tyres, Coca-Cola and others.
The SMB segment is also looking to grow digitally and with sustainable bases, it is all the way more expected that these SMB units like Sattviko and GlueDesign are going to hugely leverage this opportunity in the guidance of an experienced player like GHV.
