Now you will soon experience your daily kirana items being sold over the global eCommerce portal Amazon and just only it, you will receive them in an express delivery within the stipulated time, with no extra amount.
Amazon’s hyperlocal delivery service, Amazon Now, was piloted in Bangalore in February this year. Now the services is to be launched with Express Delivery (within 2 hours) and Scheduled Delivery (for same day or next day – completely free of cost), in Delhi NCR and Mumbai.
“Our aim is to delight our customers with the best selection and pricing across our platforms,” said Saurabh Srivastava, Category leader, Amazon India. Recently Amazon also launched “Amazon Pay Balance” as their mobile wallet in India.
