One of the trend that’s gaining pace in the male fashion industry is face grooming and Startups are trying to leverage the growth trajectory to the fullest. One such Startup which was launched in October 2015 has raised $2.3 million from Fireside Ventures and existing set of private investors. The Startup was earlier seed funded by S Ramadorai (ex CEO at TCS), Pankaj Gupta (Director at USL Diageo – The Liquor Brand) and some senior executives at McKinsey & Co.

The Startup is looking to utilise the money to further fuel its brand and explore offline sales. Currently the Startup offers male grooming prodcts such as razors, blades, facial scrubs, shaving cream, post shave balms, shaving brush, towel, travel kits, etc.

Speaking on the development the Kanwaljit Singh, founder of Fireside Ventures said, “We believe the market opportunity is tremendous as men have begun investing in the products they use and the ‘grab-and-go’ mindset is on the decline.” He further added, “With expansion into more categories and an aggressive sales team, there is enormous potential to build a large, premium brand for men’s products.”
