Amazon had recently announced its global Startup program Launchpad to India. The India Launchpad portal is now featuring on the fasade of the Amazon India website with products from 26 Startups.
What is Launchpad Program?
In the Lauchpad program Amazon partners with Startups and sells their products on its giant ecommerce platform. Additionally, Amazon also helps startups market and promotes their products. This is one of the initiatives to help the e-commerce behemoth brands its name in the minds of the Startup community.
The company has also partnered with Nasscom, Government of Maharashtra, Indian Angels network and several bodies and venture capitalists to help startups on policy and financial sides. Launchpad was first launched in the year 2015 and currently is available in seven regions.
